From a technical perspective, the MariGreen sub-project ‘Methane Catalyst for LNG Engines’ is an extremely complex project. A further challenge at the project coordination level is to combine the technical aspects of the catalyst with the objective evaluation and reporting provided by the Emden-Leer Hochschule. To make a start, the project consortium visited the facilities of Emigreen in Sliedrecht on the 1.11.16 to begin designing a research program. This will include a step-by-step outline of the work that will be carried out and how the outcomes of the catalyst will be measured.
